the first fake fairisle sock is finished!!!
im now on the second, and though im not as excited as i was on the first sock i think my enthusiasm is still there. its getting hard to concentrate though, i went into the wool shop thinking i will get myself a little congrats pressie for finishing the first fakie sock and ended up buying a cardy pattern and 7x100g balls of sidar country in a gorgeous green.
unfortunately the green doesnt look right on here but i still love it, is a gorgeous dark green that makes you want to cuddle it and never let go. however now all i can think about is what to buy for the completion of the second sock, to leave one out would be truly terrible!
i am though, being very dedicated and refusing myself the chance to start the green jacket as i no as soon as i do all hope of completeing the second fakey sock will be lost.
im gonna do this, my reward for finishing the sock will be to start making the cardy and it will be brilliant.
